Bigg Boss 19 wild card contestant shares fond memories of meeting MS Dhoni

Actor Malti Chahar, sister of Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar, recently opened up about her memorable first encounter with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former Indian cricket team captain. Speaking to ANI, the actress fondly recalled her “wow” moment meeting the World Cup-winning skipper in 2018, describing him as a “sweet” person with an “incredible aura.”

A Memorable First Meeting

Malti revealed that Dhoni was the first cricketer she ever met. “I met Mahi Bhaiya for the first time when my brother was playing for CSK. He asked me if I wanted to meet Mahi, and I said, ‘Yes, why not?’ It was my first time meeting a cricketer, and it was Mahi Bhaiya,” she said with a smile.

The actress recalled meeting Dhoni in Chennai, where she had gone for a shoot. “That was in 2018. I really loved his aura. He is a very sweet person, he’s a darling,” she added.

Malti’s brother, Deepak Chahar, has shared a close bond with MS Dhoni, both on and off the field. Under Dhoni’s captaincy, Deepak blossomed as a dependable pacer for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
