It all happened after India’s convincing win in the third ODI on October 25, where Rohit Sharma (121*) and Virat Kohli (74*) powered India to a nine-wicket victory, avoiding a series whitewash. While journalist Vimal Kumar was filming a segment for Ashwin’s YouTube show ‘Ash Ki Baat’, a spirited Aussie fan jumped into the frame shouting, “2-1! 2-1!”, mocking India’s series defeat.

But as soon as he realised that the camera belonged to none other than Ashwin, his tune changed instantly. From trolling to trembling respect, the fan folded his hands, bowed, and greeted, “Namaskar! Apka swagat hai!” in his best Indian accent, leaving both Ashwin and Vimal bursting into laughter.
