Tollywood queen Samantha Ruth Prabhu's debut flick 'Ye Maaya Chesave,' alongside Naga Chaitanya, is all set for re-release on July 18, 2025. Amid the growing excitement among fans for the iconic romantic drama's re-release, rumours started doing rounds that Sam and Chay might reunite for the promotions of the flick. While there was no official confirmation regarding the same, recently, Samantha broke her silence on her reunion with Naga Chaitanya.

Sam Breaks Silence on Reunion With Chay
During a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Samantha Ruth Prabhu firmly clarified that she is not reuniting with her co-star and ex-husband Naga Chaitanya for the promotion of Ye Maaya Chesave.
The Oh Baby actress was quoted as saying, "No, I am not promoting Yeh Maya Chesave with anyone. In fact, I am not promoting the film at all. I don’t know where this talk is coming from. Maybe fans of the film want to see the lead pair together.”
Further, she added that people cannot live their lives based on public expectations.
She said, "One can’t live one’s life through the audience’s lensing of life.”
Sam Shares Memories From Movie
After clearing the air about her reunion buzz with Chay, Sam recalled her early memories from the shoot of the timeless romantic saga. The Khushi actress revealed that her first ever shot for the movie was the now-iconic gate scene where Jessie (her character) meets Karthik (Chay's character) for the first time.

She also praised the director Gautham Vasudev Menon and called it a fantastic experience working with someone who knew exactly how he wanted the characters to appear on screen.
