Bhubaneswar: Is Mahendra Singh Dhoni retiring? Speculations about his retirement are going on for some time now especially among cricket fans across the world. However, former cricketer Anil Kumble today clearly asserted that only Mahendra Singh Dhoni can best answer the question.
Kumble made such remark while responding to a media query on the sidelines of the Odisha Knowledge Hub Lecture Series organised in Bhubaneswar today.
“Only Mahi (Mahendra Singh Dhoni) can tell about his retirement plans,” Kumble said.
On being asked whose captaincy is better, Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, Kumble said, “Both of them are good.”
According to reports, the fans had last seen Dhoni in action in the semi-final of ICC CWC 2019 against New Zealand. After the exit, Dhoni made himself unavailable for selection and was seen serving the Indian Army.
At present, Rishabh Pant has been doing the wicket-keeping duties for team India.
