Nagpur: National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) and Indian Water Works Association (IWWA) are jointly organising a workshop on `Community of Practice within Natural Water Systems and Treatment Technologies (NaWaTech)` here on Monday.

The workshop has been organised on commencement of the Indo-European collaborative research project `NaWaTech`, which deals with water shortage in urbanised India and aims at developing and deploying multi-barrier, cost effective, and low-energy natural treatment systems at selected sites in Maharashtra, NEERI scientist Subhash Andey said in a release here.

The members from European Union consortium will also attend the event, alongwith Indian delegates, the release added.
