Kochi: As part of the World Environment Day on June 4, Kerala based movie production company, Vaya Films, today said it would organise a walk to Mangalavanam Bird sanctuary, city`s only green lung.

As part of the company`s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Vaya Films called for a `Clean Kochi Green Kochi` campaign in association with city based youth community Change Our World, Shivan G Nair, Executive Director, Vaya Films, told reporters here.

The three and half km walk from Durbar Hall ground to Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary, will be flagged off by Hibi Eden, MLA at 7 AM. Besides, there will be a public function at Mangalavanam at 8.30AM, which would be inaugurated by Kochi Mayor, Tony Chammany.

Vaya Films will also acknowledge 22 senior contingent workers of Kochi Corporation selected from 22 circles. The workers have been selected based on their seniority and service criteria.

Deputy Mayor Bhadra, Chairman, Health Standing Committee, will be among those attending the function. Speaking on the Vaya Films maiden project `Annum Innum Ennum`, director Rajesh Nair said the film loosely revolves around the concept of trust and genuineness in relationships.

The film is different in the way the story is narrated and how it handles dry humour and irony and how there is a quid pro quo in all relations no matter how genuine they may seem. National award winner Salim Kumar, Jishnu and Radhika are essaying various roles in the film.
