Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her hubby Nick Jonas were recently in Mumbai to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. The power couple hogged a lot of limelight during the wedding function with both PeeCee and the famous pop singer dancing their hearts away on Indian songs during the Haldi ceremony.
From the paps teasing Nick Jonas as Jiju to the couple proudly walking hand in hand at every event in India and abroad their relationship has always seemed happier and joyful. And it seems in the days of divorces and separations becoming the new normal among the A-listed Bollywood couples the pair of Priyanka Chopra and Nick are establishing new couple goals.
During one of the interviews, Madhu Chopra, the mother of the desi girl opened up about how Nick Jonas asked permission to marry the Bollywood superstar. Revealing an interesting anecdote, Madhuji said, “Ek din Nick ne bola main aapko lunch pe le jata hoon. Toh gaye lunch pe. Toh wahan puchne lage ki kaisa ladka aapne socha Priyanka ke liye. Maine bataya phalana, phalana boxes hone chahiye tick. Toh mere haath pakadke kehta hai woh aadmi, “Can I be that person?” Aur main aapko promise karta hoon ki ek bhi apka box untick nahi hoga.”
“So I was like amazed and unprepared but I was very happy. Because itna sundar ladka. Kaise bataon, kaise describe karon. Describe karna bahut difficult hai. I barely knew him at that time. Toh bhi ek impression aata hai ki solid hai. Very solid. Toh yeh laga tha. I was happy, very happy” Madhu Chopra added.

For the unversed Priyanka Chopra Jonas had a tough time getting work initially when she shifted her base to Hollywood after having a very good career in Bollywood. She became a household name with Quantico television serial where she played the character of Alex Parrish. And it is during her stint in Hollywood that she met her husband Nick Jonas. The couple tied the knot in India in December 2018.
