To accommodate those who reside outside of the State, arrangements have been made to facilitate the e-KYC process remotely and officials are assisting them in this regard.

Upon successful completion, the new and old beneficiaries will be issued fresh ration cards, ensuring their continued access to the subsidised food supplies, the Minister asserted.

Citizens receiving government assistance under the food security scheme (the National Food Security Act) are encouraged to complete their e-KYC at their local Electronic Public Service (EPS) outlets or ration distribution centres.

The government urged beneficiaries to swiftly comply with the requirements to continue uninterrupted access to services. New ration cards will be issued thereafter to eligible PDS beneficiaries, who have either applied beforehand or who will apply in the future.

Government officials have been instructed to assist with e-KYC procedures both within the State and for Odia residents presently living elsewhere in the country.
