Mumbai: Taiwan-based computer hardware company ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) on Wednesday launched four new motherboards that provide advanced customisation flexibility to achieve extreme performance.

The four new Advanced Technology eXtended (ATX) motherboards are ASUS Signature X99-Deluxe II, X99-A II, X99-E and ROG Strix X99 Gaming from its ROG Strix Series line-up.

These are based on the Intel X99 chipset and loaded with exclusive technologies to maximise the potential of the new Intel Core i7 processor family for socket LGA 2011-v3.

"ASUS has been consistently praised as the number-one motherboard brand. We are keen to offer best-selling, easy-to-use, stable and trusted motherboards," Joe Hsieh, corporate vice president, ASUS, said in a statement.

"Our all-new X99 motherboards allow users to customise their experience and maximise performance in ways that simply are not possible with any other brand of motherboard," Hsieh added.

The new X99 Signature motherboards' features include the OC Socket (enhancement to tune performance) to drive CPU and DDR4 performance and exclusive 5-Way Optimisation for one-click overclocking and cooling.

With the newly upgraded "Fan Xpert 4", X99 Signature motherboards updates customised cooling. The new boards also feature ASUS Aura with onboard RGB lighting and a 4-pin LED-strip header to create stunning illumination effects.

The ROG Strix X99 Gaming motherboard is made with SupremeFX, Sonic Radar II, Intel Ethernet and GameFirst technologies, giving high-fidelity audio and faster, lag-free online gaming performance.

The new motherboards support "ThunderboltEX 3", an Intel-certified Thunderbolt 3 card that enables bi-directional speeds up to 40Gbps.
