New York: UFO enthusiasts believe that a mysterious object that they spotted in footage taken from Nasa's live stream from the International Space Station is not a mere solar flare, a media report said.
A strange blue light hovers over earth in images being circulated among UFO enthusiasts as the latest evidence of extra terrestrial life, mirror.co.uk reported on Sunday.
The phenomenon -- a mysterious glowing orb hovering above our atmosphere -- was spotted by well-known ufologist Streetcap1, who informed his 39,000 YouTube subscribers this was no mere solar flare.
"Unidentified Object is brighter on the left side due to the light from the Sun, so no lens flare," the alien hunter wrote.
"NASA cut the camera feed so quickly even though this was very distant, but I still managed to get a couple of frames to enlarge," the ufologist said.
The video won praise from fellow UFO hunter SecureTeam 10, who regularly posts clips of apparent strange sightings beamed from ISS.
