Akshay Kumar portrays Lord Shiva in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa. The new teaser of this movie was released today. It shows Vishnu Manchu, a strong warrior who turns into a devotee of Lord Shiva. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Prabhas in the end, which for many Tollywood fans is the highlight of Kannappa teaser 2.

The new teaser shows Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva and Kajal Aggarwal as Parvati discussing how a warrior like Kannappa can become his devotee. Interestingly while the two are conversing on this point Kajal Aggarwal as Parvati puts her hand on the shoulder of Lord Shiva. While it is a normal action what left the netizens surprised is the nail polish that Kajal Aggarwal is seen wearing during the act.

Since Shiva and Parvati are mythological characters it is simply not acceptable that Devi Parvati has applied nail polish when Indian tradition does not have any mention of it. Usually, in Indian tradition, mehendi, kumkum, haldi, and alta are used to colour one's hands and feet.

Intelligent fans have immediately spotted this flaw in the character of Parvati and some have even made hilarious comments. One of the users said, “Gen Z Parvati or to say Poo bani Parvati” whereas another social media user said, “Kajal has nail paint and plastic face, makeup and lipstick playing Parvati.”
While everyone can have different opinions on whether Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal are suited in the roles of Shiv and Parvati respectively, using nail polish is a major flaw that does not justify the divine characters these actors are playing.
Prabhas' presence promises a grand cinematic experience
Apart from Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal, other big stars are also playing pivotal roles in Kannappa. Mohanlal can be seen in the teaser as Kirata. But it is the entry of Prabhas as Rudra in the last few seconds of the teaser that has left Tollywood fans asking for more.
People still can’t forget Prabhas as Baahubali and somehow this look of Rudra from the Tollywood superstar has made fans recall his Baahubali days.
