What Is The Budget Of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 Mission?

615 crore rupees have been spent on the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Its budget is even lower than 'Adipurush', which is said to be the most expensive film in India. While 700 crore rupees were spent on Adipurush, India's Chandrayaan-3 will land on the surface of the moon at a lower cost. Moreover, Chandrayaan-3 has a lower budget than the Chandrayaan-2 mission. ISRO has a worldwide reputation for accomplishing space missions at low cost.

Chandrayaan-3: The 3 Key Components And Their Function

Chandrayaan-3 has 3 parts, a 1726 kg lander, 26 kg rover and 2148 kg propulsion module. The function of the propulsion module is to change the trajectory of the lander and the rover and take the spacecraft from the earth and place it in a fixed orbit. The lander will then land the spacecraft on the surface of the moon and the rover will come out and explore the lunar surface.
