Candidates can file their nominations for Sarpanchs, Samiti members and Zilla Parishad member posts from January 17 to January 21 while the scrutiny of the nomination papers will be done on January 22.

The State Election Commissioner Aditya Prasad Padhi on Tuesday declared dates for the Panchayat polls in Odisha. The counting of votes, which will be done at Block sadar level, will be held on February 26, 27 and 28; the model of conduct has come into effect in the State from today
