The Terminal 2 of Kempegowda Airport is designed as a tribute to the Garden City of Bengaluru.
PM Narendra Modi inspected the facilities at the experience centre and took a walkthrough of Terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport.
This is definitely going to give passengers a different experience and a ‘walk in the garden’ feel.
The Terminal is beautiful and passenger friendly! It is aimed at providing top class infrastructure to urban centres.
The T2 will now ensure that passenger handling capacity as well as counters for check-in and immigration at the airport is doubled. Apart from boosting the passenger handling capacity, it will also add convenience and boost commerce.
As per estimations, the airport will be able to handle around 5-6 crore passengers annually, more than double of what it used to handle so far.
The terminal building accords topmost importance to sustainability. It's over to the passengers now to experience the facilities.
