Draupadi Murmu greeted by ex-prez Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior leaders at the Parliament.
India was witness to history on Monday (July 25) when Draupadi Murmu took oath as the '15th President Of India' and became the first tribal woman to occupy the country's highest constitutional post.
After customary exchange of chairs with the outgoing President Ram Nath Kovind, prez Draupadi Murmu spoke of her vision going forward. She also said this election is a proof that every poor in India can dream and make those dreams come true.
The entire nation watched with pride as Draupadi Murmu took oath as the President of India.
