President Ram Nath Kovind today (Feb 20) inaugurated the 150th birth anniversary celebration of Srila Prabhupada - the founder of Gaudiya Mission at the holy city of Puri. The President along with first lady Savita Kovind and other family members visited Puri Jagannath Temple on the first day of his two-day trip to pay obeisance to the Holy Trinity.

Speaking at the World Vaibhav Conference in Puri, the President said “Humanity can't be divided on the basis of religion. Truth is one but it is interpreted in many ways by different people. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was the only living being addressed as Mahaprabhu apart from the Supreme Lord.”
Prez Ram Nath Kovind, First Lady Savita Kovind, Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and other dignitaries and saints at the mega conference.
President Ram Nath Kovind visited the Goudiya Mutt in Puri along with wife Savita Kovind.
Sand maestro Sudarsan Pattnaik welcomed President Kovind and the first lady to Shree Jagannath Dham ‘Puri’ through a beautiful sand sculpture.
President Kovind paid his obeisance to Lord Jagannath in Puri on Saturday. He was accompanied by his wife and other family members.
The SJTA chief administrator presented a Pattachitra of the Holy Trinity to the President at Srimandir main gate.
