Adivasi Mela and National Tribal Art and Craft Exhibition, the annual culture and trade fair in Bhubaneswar, is nearing culmination. The main objective of this yearly event is to promote and celebrate the traditions and handicraft of different tribes of India.

Local denizens come in large numbers to collect their household needs. Some throng to get the overall picture and feel of the tribal society. The trade fair is being held at IDCO Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar. Today is the last day.
As many as 187 stalls have been set up for both Adivasi Mela and National Tribal Art and Craft Exhibition.
In Tribal Haat segment, ITDAs, Micro Projects have sponsored 61 Tribal SHGs for selling of their products.
Mission Shakti, ORMAS and TDCC have also put up their stalls to sell tribal products.
The fair not only showcases the colourful tribal art and craft, but also stage performances of tribal dance, which is a joy to watch for visitors every evening.
Live demo of tribal art and crafts is the special highlight of the exhibition.
Apart from Odisha, 17 other states have participated to showcase their rich art and craft tradition in the National Tribal Art & Craft Exhibition segment.
