We often fail to perceive this but every day is a mother’s day. For, she is someone who constantly motivates us, shows us the right direction, and encourages us to reach new heights, without expecting anything in return. Today, the 8th of May, is a special day dedicated to all the mothers in this universe; time to salute the selfless givers.

Sand artist Manas Sahoo has carved a beautiful sand sculpture at the Puri sea beach, depicting the unconditional love of a mother for her child. 12 tons of sand were used to sculpt this sand art. It took nearly 7 hours for Manas to complete this 12-ft high sculpture.
Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik also shared a magnificent sand sculpture portraying the mother-child relationship.
