A report recently rolled out by NetCredit, based on analysis of millions of posts, placed Cristiano Ronaldo at the top of the Instagram Rich List. Ronaldo is followed by Lionel Messi and Virat Kohli who also made a lot of money from the social media site. Check out the list of highest-paid celebrities on Instagram for the year 2021.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not just the most-followed footballer, but also the most-followed person overall on Instagram. According to NetCredit, the Portuguese footballer made a whopping $85,217,365 through sponsored posts on the app in 2021.
At No.2 is Argentina’s football star Lionel Messi who earned $71,963,449 on the platform last year.
Star cricketer Virat Kohli is the only Indian to feature in top-10 richest celebrities on Instagram. The flamboyant batsman has made $36,667,676 through various ad posts on the platform, and is placed at third spot.
Host of famous talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen DeGeneres is the highest-earning celebrity on Instagram in the US and the fourth highest globally. Ellen made $33.72m on the platform.
American singer-writer Beyoncé is the world’s highest earning musician/artist on Instagram in sponsored ads. She is also the first musical artist to earn over $1m per Instagram post. She made $33.71m on Insta last year.
American comedian and actor Kevin Hart is the sixth highest-earning celebrity on Instagram with earnings standing at $26.1million in 2021. Surprisingly, his Jumanji co-star and lead Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson who is one of the richest actors doesn't feature in this list.
The only K-Pop artist in the list, Blackpink's Jisoo is the second highest earning singer on Instagram, she made $18.8m on the platform in 2021 through sponsored posts. She is also the only Asian woman to feature in the top-10 Insta rich list.
Anitta is a popular singer, songwriter, and actress from Brazil with nearly 50 million followers on Instagram. She made $16m on Insta last year.
Another Brazilian Larissa Manoela is at the 9th place, with an estimated earning of $15,127,389 on Insta.
Musician Dua Lipa is UK's highest earner on Instagram and is placed at No.10. She made $13m ($13,046,529) on the platform last year.
