Youth from Jharkhand succumbs to bullet injuries

Srikrishna Mahato (26) of Panchpia village under Jareikela police station in the neighbouring state was admitted to the hospital with two bullet injuries on his chest.

Though the exact reason behind the attack was yet to be ascertained, Jharkhand police, however, suspected involvement of Maoists in the incident.

Jharkhand police had brought injured Mahato for treatment and investigating was in progress, police said.
