Youth charred to death in a brick kiln in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth after he was charred in a fire mishap at a brick kiln at Kaithadiha under Padhani panchayat in Dhamnagar block of Bhadrak district late on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Babuni Gochhayat of Patanagaon village under Nadigan panchayat in the district.

Reportedly, five persons including Babuni were working in the brick kiln and used to live in a temporary house inside the brick kiln.

All five of them were sleeping inside the house when fire broke out in the house yesterday night. Though the other four managed to run outside the house in an attempt to save themselves, Babuni was burnt to death in the mishap.

Getting information, Dhamnagar Police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, Babuni's father has claimed that his son was murdered. "When four others managed to escape from the flames, how could he (Babuni) fail to rush out of the room?" questioned his father.
