Bhubaneswar: Is education system in Odisha built with a bias? Intended or unintended, there are umpteen loopholes which question the poor education system in the State victimising many students. One such instance allegedly drove a youth to attempt suicide today in front of Naveen Niwas, the official residence of Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik after being unable to get his Plus-II certificates even after a decade. His results have reportedly been withheld, due to reasons unknown.

The youth, whose whereabouts are not known, had reportedly appeared for the Plus-II examinations in the year 2008. However, neither his results have been published nor has he received his certificates.

Shattered with this, the youth today tried to hang himself outside Naveen Niwas. The on-duty policemen immediately overpowered him and took him into custody.

"If they do not publish my results today, I will commit suicide. I have got a rope with me. It's not a problem if they don't allow me near Naveen Niwas. I will hang myself from any other place if not the CM's residence. They are torturing me. How can someone stay alive like this?" questioned the youth.
