Badbil: The workers of IDCOL owned Kalinga Iron Works at Badbil today locked the ESI hospital here in protest against the continuous abscense of the doctors and assisting staff.

Over 2,500 workers of about 13 companies depend upon the hospital for treatment of their ailments. The agitating workers complained that while several instruments have been lying defunct for months together the hospital staff hardly provide medicines. The hospital staff have refuted the allegations made by the striking workers.
