Balasore: An aged woman was trampled to death by a herd of elephants early this morning at Patna village in Nilagiri sub-division of Balasore district, police said.

Suni Sing (60) of Astapur village under Remuna block had been to her relative`s house when the incident took place," Nilagiri forest ranger Narendra Naik said. The body has been sent for post-mortem to the Sub-Divisional Hospital.
