Berhampur: A woman school teacher and her son were killed when a sand-laden truck hit their motorbike near Kumudakhandi in Ganjam district, police said today.

The mishap took place yesterday when the 55-yearold teacher Krushnapriya Rath was going to the school with her son Mahesh Mohapatra, inspector in charge of Sadara police station, A K Sethi. The driver absconded. The truck was seized.
