Bhubaneswar: Nor’wester rain is likely to lash several parts of north and southern Odisha in the next 24 hours. As per the latest forecast of Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, rain accompanied by thunder squall and wind speed reaching up to 50 -60 km per hour is also likely to occur at Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal districts.

People in all these districts have been asked to remain alert for next 24 hours, informed the IMD.

“There will be no change in the temperature for the next three days. Rainfall is likely to continue for next five days in the State. The temperature across the state will remain below 35 degree Celsius,” said senior official of the meteorological centre, Sudarsan Mishra.

“Weather condition will change and temperature will rise from March 21,” he added.
