Bhubaneswar: Within a week of taking into custody two functionaries of Vista Management Services Private Ltd, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch today arrested a chartered accountant on charges of helping the company make financial irregularities.

EOW sources said Debaprasad Mishra was arrested after his links were established during a recent raid.

Earlier on May 17, Deb Kumar Panda, managing director of the company, was arrested while he was leaving for Vizag on Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Express to catch a flight to Singapore. Now, Panda is on a three-day remand.

Four days after the arrest of Panda, Bijay Swain, another director of the company, was nabbed from Bhubaneswar on charges of swindling public money.

Official sources said Vista could land in further trouble after it has emerged from investigation that the company had entered into a deal with the State government-owned APICOL for setting up of an agro services centre (ASC) at Bantala village in Khurda district.
