Vigilance sleuths conduct raid on Radhika hotel

Rourkela: Hotel Radhika Regency has become the cynosure of all eyes in the steel city as sleuths of vigilance and sales tax department conducted raid on the hotel last evening. The raid was simultaneously conducted on a bike show room, a TV show room, sponge iron factory in Banei and Reliable TMT bar factory in Kalugaon.

Though the raid was termed as tax evasion, Keonjhar MLA Subarna Nayak earlier alleged that suspended MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra along with Sarada Nayak, Badrinarayan Patra and few miners were present at the hotel for a coup to unseat Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The vigilance sleuths have also conducted joint raid on miner KJS Alluwalia’s Rourkela residence and offices at Keonjhar and Barbil for his alleged involvement in the coup.
