Vigilance raids residence of executive engineer

Jeypore: Vigilance sleuths today raided 10 places associated with Executive Engineer Shiba Prasad Bhol of the rural development department on charges of amassing disproportionate assets.

A five-member team led by Cuttack Vigilance DSP Nirmal Chandra Mohanty searched different places including the official residence of Bhol.

There have been allegations of irregularities against Bhol in execution of several projects in Kundura area under Jeypore sub division, informed vigilance officials.

The searches were on when the report was last filed. More details are awaited.
