Vehicle used for Rs 35 Lakh loot in Bhubaneswar traced
Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police has traced the vehicle used in robbery of Rs 35 lakh cash from Indian Overseas Bank employees on June 14. Police have been able to trace the car from the CCTV camera footage.
As per reports, the car used in the robbery is reportedly a stolen one as a complaint had been filed regarding its theft from Khandagiri square.
“We have collected several CCTV footages on the route from different shops and we are examining them to ascertain more details. We have already got leads in the case,” said Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty.
A group of miscreants looted the cash from the bank employees at gun point near Phulnakhara square on Friday. After looting the cash, the miscreants fled towards Cuttack.
