Bhubaneswar: The race for the post of Utkal University’s Vice-Chancellor (VC) is over, as Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare, Governor and Chancellor of Universities on Friday appointed Professor P.K. Sahu as new vice-chancellor of Utkal University.

Along the lines, Prof. Kumarbar Das and Prof. Sanghamitra Mohanty — joined the prestigious posts of vice-chancellor of Fakir Mohan University and North Orissa University respectively. 

The trio previously served in Utkal University, while Sahu was professor of MBA department of Utkal University, Das was professor of Economics and.Mohanty was professor of Computer Science and Application.
