Utkal University cancels Plus III Chemistry, Math examinations

Bhubaneswar: Following allegations of mismatch between examination questions and course syllabus, authorities of the Utkal University today cancelled the examinations for Plus-III Mathematics and Chemistry honours subjects.

After 20 minutes of the commencement of third and fifth semester exams of Plus III, some students complained that the questions were out of the scope of the syllabus.

Soon after the allegations surfaced, authorities of the university cancelled the exams of the two honours subjects. The exam controller of the university informed that re-examination of the subjects will be conducted in seven days.

Besides, the varsity authorities have asked students to stay in touch with college officials to know about the new examination dates.
