Bhubaneswar: Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Dharmendra Pradhan amd Jual Oram are scheduled to inaugurate several Nabakalebar related infrastructure projects tomorrow.

Sources said, Road Transport and Highways Minister Gadkari will dedicate National Highway-203 bypass near PipilI to nation in the afternoon. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will grace the occasion.

Similarly, Telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad is scheduled to launch BSNL’s Wifi service in Puri at 1 pm. Later, Prasad will review the services of postal department and BSNL in the State.

Notably, chief minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated 14 infrastructure projects in Puri on Sunday.

Among the new projects inaugurated by the CM was a modern bus terminal at Malatipatpur on the outskirts of Puri town which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 73.5 crore. Besides passenger waiting rooms, the bus terminal has dormitory, cafeteria, ticket reservation counter, CCTVs and a police outpost.

Patnaik also inaugurated a seven-km bypass road connecting Malatiparpur and Puri-Konark road, a new over bridge and a bridge at Atharanala. He opened a special building for mothers and infants at the district headquarters hospital.

A new fire station building, a new administrative building of ITI at Talabania, an integrated control room to keep watch on movement of people in the town and a new CCTV control room were also inaugurated.

Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP and chief minister Naveen Patnaik’s former man Friday, Pyari Mohan Mohapatra has rubbished media reports that the latter would share a dais with the former at a function of Union ministers on Thursday.

“I have not shared a dais with the CM for last three years and I too don’t wish,” Mohapatra said.

Media reports stated that Pyari will attend a Nabakalebar infrastructure inauguration meeting which will be attended by the CM and four union ministers among others.
