As part of the revised timeline, the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) will also be held earlier than usual. The department has aligned the entrance examination process with its broader plan to streamline admissions and academic activities across universities and colleges in the state.

Strict Timeline for Examinations

The Higher Education Department has directed all universities and undergraduate colleges to adhere strictly to the academic calendar and ensure that examinations are conducted on schedule.

Institutions have been instructed to complete all final semester undergraduate examinations by April 30 without fail. The department has stressed that any delay could disrupt the admission cycle and academic session.

Authorities have mandated that examination results must be declared within one month of completion. The move is aimed at preventing delays for students seeking higher education opportunities.
