Two-year-old dead, 2 missing after boat flips over in Sileru River during thunderstorm

Malkangiri: In a shocking incident, a two-year-old child died while two other persons went missing after a boat flipped over in Sileru River near Odisha-Andhra border.

The mishap occurred after the boat was caught in a thunderstorm.

According to sources, five people were on the ill-fated boat and were crossing the river to get to Nijmangampadu village from Kurumanur Bangala camp area under Chitrakonda Police limits of Malkangiri.
