Puri: Two women tourists were drowned and another went missing in the sea here on Sunday while they were taking bath, police said.

"The tourists are believed to be devotees of ISKCON and possibly belonged to Manipur. Their identity is yet to be ascertained," Inspector incharge of sea-beach police station Amulya Kumar Dhar said.

The bodies of two women were traced about 300 metres away from Baliapanda, the place of mishap, while the other woman was yet to be located, Dhar said.
