Rourkela: Two unidentified bodies were recovered by GRP police from near a railway track at Bhalulata under Bandamunda GRP limit about 30 km from here.

GRP sources said the bodies, cut into 10 to 12 pieces, were thrown from a running train. They were found lying on the track about half a km distance before Bhalulata railway sttion.

It was suspected that some anti-socials had murdered two youths aged about 20 to 25 years and then cut the bodies into pieces and thrown them from a running train. The legs, hands and heads were found on the railway track.

GRP has rushed to the spot and investigation was on.

Involvement of Maoists in the gruesome killing was still under investigation. Panic gripped the nearby tribal villages and hundreds of tribals gathered at the site to witness the incident.

The situation in Maoist prone areas in Sundargarh district remained peaceful on the second day of the Maoist`s martyr`s week being observed in the state.
