Two school kids injured after hit by bus in Rourkela

Sundergarh: Tension ran high near Bandhamunda Chhak after two minor students sustained critical injuries after they were hit by a speeding bus in Rourkela today. Sources said mother of one of the students was also injured in the road mishap.

The incident occurred when the two kids along with the woman were waiting for the school bus, preliminary reports said.

The locals ransacked the private bus and staged a demonstration by blocking road and demanded compensation and free treatment for the injured students.Movement of vehicular traffic between Bandhamunda and Rourkela was adversely disrupted due to road blockade by locals.
