Bhadrak: Two youths were injured after bombs were allegedly hurled at them at Chandbali in Bhadrak district. As per information, some unidentified miscreants allegedly hurled no less than three bombs at Sudarshan Sethi and Vidyadhar Samal last night while the duo was standing on the roadside at Balukiri square near Jogi Pond.

Laxmidhar Samal, father of one of the injured youth Vidyadhar Samal said, "My son dropped me off and said that he will be reaching home in an hour after arranging food for the factory workers. After some time we got the news of bombing in which my son's two legs were fractured."

The injured youths were rushed to Chandbali community health centre (CHC) in critical condition and subsequently shifted to Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack.

Police reached the spot following a complaint and started their investigation. A scientific team will also be probing the matter, informed sources.

Sources added that the injured youths are businessmen who have a prawn processing factory and the attack is suspected to be a result of past enmity.
