Berhampur: Two persons were arrested in connection with pelting of stone on police force and hurling bombs at a village in Ganjam district recently, police said today.

The two, Dibakar Jena and Jayasen Behera of Khairpauti, were arrested yesterday, sub-divisional police officer, Bhanjanagar, S C Jamadar, said. The police were searching for other accused. At least eight police personnel, including the personal security officer of the Ganjam SP had been injured in the attack at Khairaputi village last week, police said.
