Two arrested with dry mahua flowers

Acting on a tip-off, a raid was conducted jointly by police and excise personnel on Monday night and 20 quintals of mahua packed in 40 plastic bags were seized when the consignment was being transported in a mini truck Jharkhand border areas, the police said.

The accused were identified as Dunga Thakur and truck driver Rajesh Mahato, they said adding both were produced before a local court today which remanded them to jail custody.
