Twin City police to keep vigil on public places on Valentine’s Day

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to avoid fringe groups from indulging in anti-social activities on Valentine’s Day tomorrow, the Commissionerate Police has made extensive arrangements in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

While 15 platoons of police force will be deployed across several public places including parks and shopping malls, DCPs, ACPs and IICs have been asked to remain alert.

Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty informed that strict action will be taken against those involving in unsocial and criminal activities during the day.

“Police officials will be deployed across multiple places especially in shopping malls and parks. Any individual or institution indulging in unsocial activities will be punished as per law,” Mohanty said.
