Truck runs over mother-son duo near Bhubaneswar

The duo was identified as Ranjita Mohapatra from Cuttack and her three  year old son Shubh.

While mother-son was standing near NH-5, a loaded truck ran over the duo killing them on the spot, sources said.

Following the incident, mob blocked the national highway demanding compensation to the deceased.

However, the Mancheswar police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

Later, bodies were sent to the Capital hospital for post-mortem.
