Trains services affected due to OHE traction failure

Some of the trains were controlled enroute for sometimes at different stations, a railway official said.

Trains which was controlled at different stations for some time were: Durg-Puri Express, Guwahati-Secunderabad Express, Puri-Howrah Duronto Express, Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express, Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Satabdi Express, Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Yeshvantpur-Muzafarpur Express and Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express.

The UP train service resumed after rectification of the OHE line. The Down Line was rectified later after which train services became normal in both directions.
