Bhubaneswar: At least three trains would remain cancelled and three others will get short-terminated in view of safety related modernisation work between Cuttack and Kendrapara Road stations today, a statement from the East Coast Railway (ECoR) said.

Trains which have been cancelled include Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Passenger, Kendujhargarh-Bhubaneswar-Kendujhargarh Passenger and Cuttack-Paradeep-Cuttack Passenger.

As many as three trains including Berhampur-Cuttack Passenger, Cuttack-Puri Passenger and Cuttack-Palasa Passenger will be partially cancelled. While Berhampur-Cuttack Passenger will be cancelled between Baranga-Cuttack, Cuttack-Puri Passenger between Cuttack and Baranga, the Cuttack-Palasa Passenger will remain cancelled between Mancheswar and Cuttack.

This apart, three trains which will be short terminated include Palasa-Cuttack Passenger that will run up to Mancheswar and return as Cuttack-Palasa Passenger from Mancheswar.

Berhampur-Cuttack Passenger will run up to Baranga while Cuttack-Passenger will originate from Baranga instead of Cuttack.

The ECoR has also decided to divert some Mail and Express Trains via Bhubaneswar-Barang-Naraj-Radhakishorepur-Kapilas Road without touching Cuttack Station.

These include New Delhi Puri Express (timing at Cuttack-9.40 am), Howrah-Purio Express (12 pm), Howrah-Secunderabad Express (01.05 pm), Yeshvantpur-Kamakhya Express (10.25 am), Secunderabad-Howrah Express (11.20 am), Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express (12.08 pm), Puri New Delhi Express (12.55 pm), Puri-Howrah Express (01.30 pm).

It may be noted here that ECoR has provided stoppage of all the aforesaid trains at Kapilas Road instead of Cuttack at the mentioned times.

Meanwhile, passengers at Cuttack Station will be provided with bus service facilities between Cuttack and Kapilas Road for both the directions.
