Bhubaneswar: The trainee sub-inspector (SI), Biswajit Behera who had brought allegations of harassment and misbehaviour against Chandaka Special Operation Group (SOG) Commandant Anirudh Singh yesterday, lodged an online complaint with Chandaka Police today. Behera has also filed a complaint with the National Human Resources Commission (NHRC), said reports.

Behera, a resident of Deulasahi Colony in Cuttack, alleged that Singh used to misbehave and hurl abuses on him during the training. Moreover on June 11, when he refused to perform some exercises due to an injury on his waist, Singh allegedly ill-treated him and forcible detained him at a training camp in Bhubaneswar.

On Wednesday, Behera had initiated the matter to DGP RP Sharma through media and is likely to meet the DGP today in Cuttack.

On the other hand, SOG Commandant Singh refuted the allegations and said, “Earlier on multiple occasions, he (Behera) had left the training session midway. This time also he wanted to leave and that is why he is resorting to dramas. When I tried to console him, he misbehaved with me.”

Officials of Odisha police or Commissionerate Police are yet to respond to the matter.
