Bhubaneswar: After arresting Hi-Tech Group MD Tirupati Panigrahi and his two aides on December 25 in connection with multi-crore land fraud, Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch on Saturday morning took them into remand for interrogation.
 
After a health check up in Capital hospital here, Tirupati Panigrahi along with his aides Madhusudan Panigrahi and Tirupati Chaudhury were taken to the city based office of Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch for interrogation.
 
“Three of them are being interrogated separately by the senior officials of Crime Branch”, highly placed sources said.
 
On the other hand, slamming his arrest Tirupati Panigrahi said, “We have been trapped in conspiracy but will never lose our zeal. We have worked for the betterment of Odisha”.
 
The complainant, whose identity has not been disclosed by the CB, has alleged in the FIR that he paid Rs 1.80 lakh in installments to Rajdhani Systems and Promoters Pvt Ltd to buy four plots in Sundarpada area of Bhubaneswar. The installments were paid between 2003 and 2009. But complainant neither got any plots till now nor has received the money back. Rather he has been threatened by the company officials, the complainant alleged.
