Tipsy Odisha Youth Climbs Atop Police Vehicle, Creates Ruckus

Balasore: A video of a youth scuffling with cops in an inebriated condition after climbing atop the police vehicle has gone viral on social media.

The incident reportedly took place in Gosalapada area under Sahadevkhunta police limits in Balasore district. In the video, the youth, identified as Biswaranjan Nayak is seen standing on the police vehicle and creating ruckus.

The video shows police personnel trying to pacify the bare-bodied youth who later engaged in a verbal spat with the cops. However, the police officials were able to overpower him and took him to the police station.

According to sources, the youth had allegedly attacked and injured a man, identified as Rahul Biswal, in an inebriated condition in Gosalapada area.  On being informed, the police rushed to the spot and detained the youth. On way to the police station, the youth somehow climbed atop the police van and created ruckus. He even damaged the glasses of the police van.

The police have registered a case and forwarded the accused youth to court. The accused is reportedly the son of a retired police officer.
