Bhubaneswar: Three BJP leaders from Odisha have been included in the party’s newly-selected parliamentary executive committee.

Senior party leader Suresh Pujari will take up the role of party‘s Lok Sabha whip for 3 States- Odisha, Manipur & Telangana while Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be special invitee for Rajya Sabha. Similarly, former Union Minister Jual Oram has been named as special invitee for Lok Sabha.

Speaking on his new role, Jual Oram thanked PM Modi and the party leadership for his appointment as special invitee to the Parliament for the second consecutive time.

PM Narendra Modi will be the leader of the party in Lok Sabha, while Amit Shah has been appointed as National President of the parliamentary executive committee. Thaawar Chand Gehlot has been made the Leader of the Party in the Upper House of the Parliament. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Piyush Goyal will serve as the Deputy Leaders of Party in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, respectively.

A total of 18 leaders have been named as party whips for Lok Sabha and will be led by Chief Whip Sanjay Jaiswal. Likewise, six leaders have been named whips for Rajya Sabha and they will be led by Chief Whip Narayan Lal Panchariya.
