Three killed in container–bike collision in Odisha’s Kuchinda

Three motorists were killed in a head-on collision between a container truck and a motorcycle. The accident took place at Pithamaren under Jamankira police station in the Kuchinda area of Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Monday.

Following the accident, emergency services rushed to the spot. The impact of the collision was severe and all three motorcycle riders died in the incident.

The exact circumstances leading to the accident are yet to be established.

Soon after the collision, the container truck caught fire. Fire services personnel were alerted and they rushed to the spot to control the blaze.

The fire was later brought under control by the firefighting team, preventing it from spreading further.

Identities Yet To Be Established

Officials said the identities of the deceased have not yet been established.
